ANF returns

The United Council of the Armenian Aryan Association (AAA) and the Armenian Association of Nationalists (AAN) has issued a statement.

-On February 15, the United Council of the AAA and the AAN held an ensuring session during which a pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces was established for the second time in the modern history of Armenia.

-The alliance will be established similar to and through the directive of the Armenian Aryan Fist (AAF) which vigorously participated in the 2003 elections for the National Assembly and will include representatives of nationalist structures and individual nationalists.

The pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces will be established by the AAA and AAN member organizations and associations and will be replenished by the decision of the United Council.

The pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces has ended organizational activities in 11 provinces of Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhk and the Diaspora and expects to see the support from nationalist Armenians who have the right to vote or have relatives in Armenia.

The pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces doesn’t rule out its participation in the next Armenian presidential elections.

The United Council of the AAA and the AAN has decided to support the views of political forces that are in favor of holding elections through the proportional and majoritarian order. The Armenian Aryans and the Nationalists are certain that the partisanship of the political field in Armenia will put an end to the political activities of independent intellectuals and persons with individuality, which will only cause harm to the expression of Armenians’ potential.

Only participation in the upcoming NA elections through the proportional electoral order won’t ensure the suspension of those getting elected through funding. If a large part of those getting elected give bribes to voters to get elected through the majoritarian order, the electoral bribes will be given to this or that political party in the case of the proportional order.

The pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces will participate in the NA elections either through the electoral list of the Armenian Aryan Party of Armenia (AAPA) or will register the pre-electoral alliance of Armenian Nationalist Forces as a political entity.

The United Council of the AAA and the AAN calls on voters and political forces to give a correct assessment of the current military-political state in our region for the solution to key issues of Armenia’s foreign policy, which has led to the emergence of the need for having Armenian nationalists represented in the new parliament and government. The sharp responses to Armenia’s domestic and foreign challenges are urgent and should be made from the higher instances.  http://www.a1plus.am/en/politics/2012/02/16/hab
