BIRTH OF VAHAGN<\/strong>
\nLaboured the Sky, laboured the Earth,<\/strong>
\n In between the two<\/strong>
\n The coral-red sea laboured in mirth.<\/strong>
\n And the red bamboo too<\/strong>
\n In the coral-red sea blushed and gave birth.<\/strong>
\n Off the red bamboo smoke is fuming out,<\/strong>
\n Off the red bamboo flame is bursting out.<\/strong>
\n The flame has seized all of the red cane,<\/strong>
\n The coral-red sea is caught up in flames.<\/strong>
\n There comes out a child — off the red flare.<\/strong>
\n Vahagn it is — all young and in glare.<\/strong>
\n With a beard like flame and lips like fire,<\/strong>
\n With a sun-flamed crown in his flamed, ginger hair,<\/strong>
\n And eyes like twin Suns, shining in full dare.<\/strong><\/p>\n
